Shawn Maloney is senior vice president of EDI solutions for Ingenix. In this role he drives the development of innovative software and services that assist insurance companies and state workers compensation commissions with intelligent EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) electronic communications, which improve the quality and timeliness of data.

Maloney has nearly 25 years of experience leading mission-critical electronic data interchange and e-commerce initiatives aimed at enhancing business performance through a combination of process improvement and technology implementation. He joined Ingenix in 2007 through the acquisition of Red Oak E-Commerce Solution Inc. where he was the founder and president.  He has participated in EDI initiatives in various roles in the retail/manufacturing, health care and workers compensation industries. He was a founder and president of Celerity Technologies and vice president of HNC Software. He has participated and led several EDI standards initiatives through his work with both ACS X12 and the IAIABC.
