Michael E. Scofield, Ph.D.

Michael Scofield is research and development director for the employer solutions group at Ingenix. He has more than 20 years of management and research experience with expertise that includes employee health and productivity, analysis of behavioral, psychosocial, clinical and administrative data, organizational assessment, and worksite health promotion.

Scofield has held senior management positions at Encisive (business intelligence solutions for human capital management), Nucleus (provider of total absence management software and consulting), and SolutionPoint (health care consumer measurement tools to integrated delivery systems). At AT&T, he was responsible for medical programs evaluation, developed the “AT&T Health Audit,” and served as chief epidemiologist at its Actuarial Sciences subsidiary.

Scofield is a recognized communicator experienced in public speaking to audiences of all size. He has written for professional, trade and popular publications and has been a named source for national broadcast and print media.

Scofield has held graduate-level university appointments at Pennsylvania State University, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Seton Hall University.
