CHRIS DORN

Director, Fraud and Recovery Solutions, Ingenix

Chris Dorn is director of fraud and recovery solutions for Ingenix. He has nearly 20 years of experience detecting, investigating and resolving health care fraud and abuse matters with UnitedHealth Group and other health insurers.

Prior to joining the insurance industry, Dorn spent several years working in law enforcement and emergency medical care. He served as chief executive officer of a non-profit emergency medical services program and served for many years as a volunteer firefighter. He graduated from the Cape May County (NJ) police academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Administration from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Dorn serves on the board of governors for the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association. He has published articles in professional health care journals and speaks at various health care conferences. He is frequently quoted in national, local and trade media on health care fraud and abuse topics.
