Russ Keene, vice president of Ingenix CareTracker solutions, is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry. He is a proven leader in practice management, electronic medical record and physician billing solutions. Keene joined Ingenix in 2007 by way of acquisition of Lighthouse MD, a leading practice management and EMR provider where he served as chief executive officer. Prior to his leadership role at LighthouseMD, Keene was the founder of VitalWorks, which was acquired by Infocure in 1999.

Keene started his healthcare career at VERSYSS, holding a variety of leadership positions in technology, support, and sales. As a founder and board member he sold VERSYSS to Physician Computer Network in 1995 with 70,000 physicians under contract using its practice management system. Keene received his BS degree in Business Administration at Babson.
