Nancy Walczak, Ph.D., FSA, MAAA

Senior Consultant, Reden & Anders

Nancy Walczak is a senior consultant with Reden & Anders, Ltd., where she serves as editor in chief of the Ingenix Health Technology Pipeline, providing clinical and actuarial analyses of new devices, drugs, vaccines and therapies. Nancy leads a team in developing specialized trend forecasts of “disruptive events” in the health care industry.

Nancy offers extensive experience in the evaluation and modeling of emerging developments in the biotechnology and pharma space. Prior to joining Reden & Anders in 2003, she worked with ING Financial Services (formerly ReliaStar Financial Services) in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Prudential Financial Services in Roseland, New Jersey. Her roles at these organizations utilized her skills in regulatory affairs and financial modeling.

Nancy received a doctoral degree in neuroscience from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with extensive background in numerical analysis and clinical coursework. She was an ARCS Foundation Fellow from 1982-1983 and received a National Institutes of Health traineeship from 1983-1985. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
