Marybeth Regan is a Global Managing Partner with the Reden & Anders health care practice in Chicago. She specializes in the area of areas Care Management, Clinical Informatics and Disease Management. Dr. Regan has worked as a consultant for providers, payers and life science clients for over 20 years experience, having held Senior Management position with First Health, the Mayo Clinic, Cap Gemini and Baxter International. Her experience includes a wide array of engagements including:

• Project lead on the Wisconsin Health Information Organization creation of a data repository including data matching for data from over five payers and several other organizations.
• Developed the new service delivery model for large, Blue Cross plan which incorporated prevention and wellness to be competitive in market. Managed $6.3 million engagement.
• Reviewed care management program for Humana including gaps in the new system (EDS). Also reviewed their disease management outsourced programs. Provided comparison with competitive software and costs with process redesign.
• Defined and implemented the introduction into disease management for a nationwide PPO - resulted in net profits of over $3 million and client savings of over 33%. Covered 1.6 million lives in the first year for transplant, cardiac, oncology, maternity and pharmacy.
• Developed employer strategies for disease management client to expand their disease management markets.
• Defined and implemented the contracting strategy for a Medicaid HMO in Chicago for all provider, hospital and ancillary contracts
• Integration of pharmacy data into a predictive care management model for patient identification.
• Benchmarked a national insurer’s care management capabilities, evaluated care management infrastructure and evaluated care management processes.
• Developed the telemedicine and eHealth strategy for a government initiative In Australia.

Dr. Regan is a nationally renowned subject matter expert, writer and public speaker in the areas of Disease Management and Care Management. She holds a Doctorate degree in International Business and a Ph.D. in Philosophy. She recently completed and defended her dissertation titled, "Disruptive Innovation: The Acceptance of Technology by Physicians focused on EMR, PHR, ePrescribing and Telemedicine.
