Director of Regulatory Programs at Ingenix

Sherry Hoefel is director of Regulatory Programs at Ingenix, where she is responsible for monitoring regulations regarding fee schedule and reporting requirements, development of Ingenix’s workers’ compensation and auto fee schedule data, automated rules for medical bill review, and state reporting functionality. Sherry’s experience includes more than 24 years in the health care industry, including 19 years in workers’ compensation and property and casualty. Sherry has developed automated fee schedule pricing and rules, automated PPO networks, created a standardized provider file, managed a medical bill review unit for a workers’ compensation insurer, and served as an office manager for a physician’s group. In addition, she spent several years working with insurers and the medical community on reimbursement and medical reporting.

Senior Vice President of EDI Services

Shawn Maloney is senior vice president of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Services at Ingenix, where he is responsible for monitoring regulations regarding workers’ compensation EDI, and development and delivery of EDI products and services. Shawn’s experience spans more than 28 years in the EDI industry, including 18 in workers’ compensation and property and casualty. Before joining Ingenix, Shawn served as president of Celerity Technologies and Red Oak E-Commerce Solutions (ROES), both leading workers’ compensation EDI companies. Shawn also has partnered with IAIABC for over 15 years in developing EDI standards for workers’ compensation. He is a member of the IAIABC EDI Council, which oversees all workers’ compensation EDI standards development.
