Dawn Phillips, CPCLA

Vice President, Property & Casualty Group, Ingenix

Phillips has more than 20 years of experience in workers’ compensation and property and casualty insurance. She has provided consulting services in the areas of absence management and prevention, workers’ compensation, and development and implementation of managed care programs including pharmacy, third party administrators, fraud and return to work.

Phillips’ clients have included Southwest Airlines, Cemex, JC Penney, Harley Davidson, 7-Eleven and McLane Company.

Before joining Ingenix, she worked for Aon, where she was Managing Director for Technical Services, a practice that provided consulting in the area of reducing loss costs from both a pre- and post accident perspective. She oversaw a regional staff of Risk Control and Claim professionals. In addition, she has worked for several major insurance carriers including AIG where she was involved in the managed care and third party administration programs.

Phillips received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Speech and Hearing from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She has a Casualty, Property Claim Law Associate designation (CPCLA).  

She is a frequent speaker and lecturer before local and national organizations including RIMS, TAPPI and Pulp and Paper Safety Association. Phillips is the author of a variety of articles and programs in the areas of managed care return to work, workers’ compensation fraud and absence management.
