Daniel L. Dunn, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Research and Development, Ingenix
Dan Dunn is senior vice president of Research and Development for Ingenix. Dr. Dunn is a nationally recognized health services researcher. At Ingenix, he oversees the design and development of predictive modeling and information solutions.
Prior to joining Ingenix, Dr. Dunn worked as an economist at the Harvard University School of Public Health where he spent eight years as technical director of the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale (RBRVS) Project, a study to develop a physician payment system for the Medicare program. At Harvard, Dunn led a national study for the Society of Actuaries comparing different methods of health risk assessment. Currently he chairs a National Committee for Quality Assurance on measuring the relative resource efficiency of health plans and providers.
Dr. Dunn’s training is in economics and quantitative methods. He has published more than thirty articles on different topics in health services research and frequently speaks at national conferences on predictive modeling and health care performance improvement.
