Renee Leary, MPH

Co-founder, HSS, an Ingenix company

Renee Leary possesses more than 25 years of analytical, consulting and executive experience in healthcare and data management. She participated in the development of Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) at Yale University and has extensive expertise in the application of DRG-based strategies for casemix analysis, data reporting, comparative profiling and financial modeling.

Renee has authored numerous articles and has won the Helen Yerger/L. Vann Seawell Best Article Award from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in both 2001 and 2002 for pieces co-written with Dr. Dean Farley, also of Ingenix. She has also been a featured speaker at over 50 conferences and seminars, including the HFMA Annual National Institute and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) National Convention.

After merging HSS with Ingenix in 2005, Renee and her husband Bob moved on from Ingenix in 2007. We appreciate the leadership they have provided and wish them and their family well.
