Bob Leary

Co-founder, HSS, an Ingenix company

Bob possesses more than a quarter century of experience in fostering the design and development of computerized techniques and strategies for managing and utilizing healthcare data. Leary participated in the development of Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) at Yale University and directed the implementation of some of the first commercially available systems that used DRGs as a basis for measuring casemix.

Bob has authored numerous articles for leading industry publications including Advance for Health Information Executives. He holds a BA from Southern Connecticut State University.

After merging HSS with Ingenix in 2005, Bob and his wife Renee moved on from Ingenix in 2007. We appreciate the leadership they have provided and wish them and their family well.
