Quicken HealthSM combines Intuit’s experience building consumer-friendly financial management tools with innovative Ingenix health care technology and experience. This unique, web-based tool guides consumers though the process of understanding and managing their health care finances. Enabled by OMX

To distribute Quicken Health to members via its web portal, a health plan must implement and maintain an Open Medical eXchange (OMX) server and complete the Quicken Certification process. OMX is the enabling technology for Quicken Health, collecting member data from a health plan’s systems and formatting it into messages for transmission to Intuit servers. OMX and Quicken Certification facilitate reliable, highly available, and securely transmitted data while supporting the health plan’s need to comply with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

The first release of Quicken Health is complete and we are moving into a learning phase with our founding health plan partners, who are currently preparing to test and deploy to their members.
