 PAUL EMERSON
Chief Financial Officer, Ingenix
Paul Emerson is Chief Financial Officer of Ingenix. He leads the organization's global accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, capital management and real estate functions.
Emerson has more than 15 years of financial leadership in the health care industry. He joined UnitedHealth Group in 2003 and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the health solutions group of the Specialized Care Services segment.
Before joining UnitedHealth Group, Emerson was Vice President of Finance for Cardiac Science, a global manufacturer and distributor of cardiac-related medical devices. During Emerson's four year tenure, Cardiac Science grew from an $11 million to $80 million business through mergers, acquisitions and organic growth. He also spent several years working with health care clients as part of Arthur Andersen's audit and business advisory pratice.
Emerson is a certified public accountant and.holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
